This Lightning, This Madness
Under leaden clouds spreads the ocean,
The wind howls around liquid towers,
And we play.
We draw colored ribbons among the cumulonimbus
And thunders cannot trail our wake.
You hurl to the eye of the hurricane
And I follow dodging its gusts.
I dive into the freezing waters
And you follow me holding your breath.
We sprout from the ocean like darts of foam,
And we tear the skies breaking cosmic laws.
But none of that matters,
Because we are but children.
